The White Weathered Barn is a little lifestyle store located in the heart of Greenport, NY featuring a collection of fine art, photography, artisanal handicrafts, vintage finds, unique gifts & repurposed “what-cha-ma-whose-its”.
Owner Rena Wilhelm, a 15+ year residential interior designer & life long fine artist, displays her vast array of talents & favorite things within a petite sized boutique located only steps away from Greenport’s busiest intersection: Front & Main Street.
The shop is 3 parts boutique & 1 part working studio or what Rena calls her “organized mess of a pile of works in progress”. Coined a “serial dabbler” by a old design client, the working studio part of the shop is a visual representation of her nickname. Fabrics, pencils, pens, paints, brushes, silverware, anvil, hammer, glue, sewing machine & much much more..all piled on top of each other as organization is not her strong suit. Of the handmade goods, Rena makes about 75% of the items. The other 25% features the work of some close talented friends & creative recruits. The inventory is ever changing & because most pieces are one-of-a-kind, you should visit the shop often..hint hint.
